The essentials. Mortal Pawn uses an account linked to a device identifier to save your progress and support online play. We process gameplay and profile information and, if you buy something, purchase confirmations. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Privacy questions or deletion requests: mortal.pawn.dev@gmail.com.

1. Who we are

Mortal Pawn is provided by Mortal Pawn Dev, operated by Roman Aptsiauri ("we", "us", "our"). This policy applies to the Mortal Pawn Android game, package com.mortalpawn.game, its game backend, communications you send to us about the game, and the promotional website as described below.

2. Information we process

Account and device identifiers
A device-specific identifier supplied by the operating system through Unity, a generated game account/player ID, authentication tokens and online session information. These let the game create or recognize your account without asking you to register with an email address. A device identifier is not your real name.
Profile and online presence
Your chosen display name, avatar and other profile cosmetics; participation in online sessions, matchmaking and private rooms; and online/offline presence needed for multiplayer features.
Gameplay and progress
Your heroes, equipment, inventory, virtual currencies, tutorial and progression state, game actions, match outcomes, rewards and gameplay statistics. Some preferences, selections and session information are also stored locally on your device.
Purchases
If you make an in-app purchase, we process product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase receipts/tokens, purchase status and the virtual items or currency granted. Google Play processes your payment. We do not receive your full payment-card number or bank-account details.
Technical and diagnostic information
Network information such as your IP address, connection times and service/error logs can be processed by our game server and hosting infrastructure. Unity service initialization and purchasing diagnostics can include an installation identifier, app/SDK versions, device or operating-system information, errors and service timing information.
Messages you send to us
If you contact support or make a privacy request, we receive your email address, message, any attachments you choose to provide, and information needed to handle and verify your request.

The current Android game does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or precise device location. It does not require your real name or email address to start playing. Please avoid putting personal information in your public display name.

3. How we use information

  • Authenticate your account, save and restore progress, and provide the game.
  • Run multiplayer, matchmaking, private rooms, profiles, statistics and reward systems.
  • Verify purchases with the store, deliver purchased content and prevent duplicate grants.
  • Maintain security, detect fraud or abuse, troubleshoot errors and improve reliability.
  • Respond to support and privacy requests and meet applicable legal obligations.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the game service, for legitimate interests in operating and securing the game, to comply with legal obligations, or with consent where required. We do not use game data for targeted advertising.

4. Who receives information

  • Other players: your player ID, display name, chosen profile appearance and information needed for matches, rooms or player-facing statistics can be visible to other participants. Purchase receipts and authentication tokens are not part of your public profile.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: our backend runs on Google Cloud and uses Nakama server software and a database. Infrastructure providers process data needed to host, secure and operate these services.
  • Google Play and Unity: the game uses Google Play Billing through Unity In-App Purchasing. Store purchase confirmation/validation and Unity technical service initialization or diagnostic processing are used where these features run. Their handling of information is also described in Google's Privacy Policy and Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
  • Support providers: email services process messages you send to our support address.
  • Legal and security recipients: we may disclose necessary information to comply with law, protect users or the service, or respond to a valid legal request. If the game changes ownership, relevant information may be transferred subject to applicable safeguards and notice.

We do not sell personal information. The game's Discord link opens an external service; using Discord is optional and is subject to Discord's privacy policy.

5. Storage and retention

Account information and game progress are stored on our backend for as long as needed to provide and maintain your account and game features, unless you request deletion or a longer period is needed for a permitted legal, security or dispute-resolution purpose. Technical logs are retained as needed for troubleshooting and security and are subject to log rotation. We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve the request and document its handling.

We respond to privacy requests without undue delay and within one calendar month of receipt, subject to any extension permitted by applicable law, which we explain to you. We promptly explain any information needed to verify ownership. We complete a verified deletion request without undue delay, normally within 30 days after verification, and earlier where applicable law requires. We delete the account and associated personal game data from active systems, except records that must be retained for legal obligations, purchase disputes, fraud prevention or security. Any retained information is limited to those purposes. Backups expire no later than 30 days after creation. Copies containing deleted data may remain until that expiry, for no more than 30 days after account deletion. They are not used for ordinary gameplay or marketing. Uninstalling the game does not by itself delete server-side information.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, applicable safeguards govern these transfers.

6. Your choices and rights

You can edit your display name and available profile options in the game. Purchases are optional. You can stop playing at any time. Clearing local application data removes local settings and session information, but can affect access to a device-linked account and does not delete backend records.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also contact your local data-protection authority. Send requests to the address below. We may ask for information proportionate to verifying that you control the game account, and respond as required by applicable law.

7. Children

Mortal Pawn is intended for players aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the game, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate. Local laws may impose additional age or parental-permission requirements.

8. Security

Game connections to our public backend use HTTPS and secure WebSocket connections. We use access restrictions and other reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Never send us your payment-card details, account passwords or authentication tokens.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when game features, providers or data-handling practices change. We will post the updated text here and change the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before material changes take effect.

To request deletion, email us with the subject "Mortal Pawn account deletion". Include your player ID if available, or your display name and enough non-sensitive information to help us identify the account. We will verify ownership before deleting data. You can use this email route without reinstalling the game. Do not send passwords or authentication tokens.

This request covers the game account and associated personal profile, progress and game records, subject to the limited retention described above.

11. This website

The promotional website provides information about the game, policy pages and contact links. It does not create a game account, accept payments or include an analytics or advertising script. Its server and hosting infrastructure can process technical request information such as IP address, requested page, request time and error information needed to deliver and secure the site.

Fonts on the promotional homepage are served from this website; these policy and support pages use local system fonts. There are no embedded third-party font requests. Clicking an external community, video or store link takes you to that provider; its privacy terms then apply. Sending us an email is optional and is handled as support correspondence.
